We understand that entrusting your wealth to someone else is not easy.  We take this responsibility very seriously, as your wealth represents what you have worked very hard to achieve.  We strongly encourage every prospective client to come in for a complimentary visit, so we can both agree that Sapient Road is the best fit.  At the end of the day, it does not matter how many designations are after my name.  You, as a client, need to feel confident that we have your best interests at heart.  Shaking hands and sitting down for a face-to-face meeting help lay the groundwork for a trusting relationship.

This is how we build and maintain our relationship with you:

1. Initial Meeting – We want to hear your story and the events in your life that have shaped how you view wealth.  We want to know why you have chosen to reach out to a financial planner, as well as what your expectations are.  After hearing what you are looking for, we can explain what we offer and determine if there is a good fit.  No two clients are the same, which is why this initial meeting is such a key component.

2. Strategy Selection – Once we have established a relationship, we work with you to determine the best strategy for reaching your goals.  Through a risk questionnaire, we will look at your risk profile to evaluate both your desire and ability to take on risk.  We will also incorporate your prior investing experience into your portfolio strategy.  Together, we will develop a strategy for your unique needs and circumstances.  Think of a marathon.  The end goal is to complete the race, but each marathoner runs at his/her own pace.  Your personalized strategy will incorporate your unique circumstances while keeping your end goal in mind.

3. Ongoing Management – We want to eliminate the burden of financial uncertainty in your life.  We constantly monitor your portfolio and make strategic changes to keep you on track.  We are committed to keeping you informed every step of the way.

4. Touch Base Meetings – Although our web-based software allows you to view your portfolio at any time, we encourage you to take advantage of personal interaction.  While we are happy to meet with you as often as you’d like, we will invite you to meet with us at least every 6 months.  We urge you to take advantage of this.  It is our experience that these meetings often provide dialogue and discussion offering insight not available via emails or phone calls.
